About the Role

Accroid Inc is seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer with expert knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including components like HDFS, Yarn, Hive, LLAP, Druid, Impala, Spark, Kafka, HBase, and Cloudera Workbench. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Hadoop architecture and experience with Data Lake and Data Warehousing design and development. The role involves reviewing and improving existing DB and Hadoop infrastructure, implementing software lifecycle methodology, ensuring high availability, and managing data movement in and out of Hadoop clusters.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, Hive, Yarn, Spark, and more.
Troubleshoot Open Source technologies, including configuration management and deployment.
Design and develop Data Lake and Data Warehousing solutions.
Review and improve existing Hadoop and DB infrastructure.
Implement software lifecycle methodologies to ensure adherence to release and roadmap.
Configure high availability for Hadoop name-nodes and ensure backup scheduling.
Manage data movement in and out of Hadoop clusters.

Required Skills

Expertise in Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, Yarn, Hive, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture and high availability configurations.
Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehousing design.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and configuring Open Source technologies.
Knowledge of Hadoop cluster management and backup strategies.
Familiarity with software lifecycle methodology and roadmap adherence.
